The rich culinary history of Goodwood, the sporting Estate in West Sussex, was brought to life in the BBC One programme Mary Berry’s Country House Secrets.
In it, Mary met custodians, staff and farmworkers from across the 12,000-acre Estate, unearthing secrets away from the well-trodden tourist path.
Working as a PR consultant at Goodwood, I managed the project from initial discussions with Shine TV – the production company – through to generating story ideas, organising the filming and ensuring Goodwood’s values and the family’s privacy were upheld throughout the process.
Over three million people tuned in to watch the show, generating record-breaking visits to Goodwood.com. I absolutely loved working with Mary and the team at Shine TV – it was one of the most exciting brand storytelling projects I have been involved in.
