Hello, how are you all doing?? I've been enjoying some time off social whilst I navigate the crazy waters of summer holidays/ work/ life/ parenting that many of my friends on here know so well. We're almost there. You're doing great. Enjoy the little nutters while you can.
Tim and I - a rare photo of the two of us. We’ve been together since we were 21, married since 2005 and whilst we have certainly had our lows I think we make a good team. My favourite thing about us is we dream big. We always have. We make things happen. We’re lucky to have supportive families, a very privileged life, good jobs etc etc. But we’ve never let the many obstacles we have faced stop us from doing what we want to do.
I've loved working on tone of voice for New York-based fine jewellery brand @ninarunsdorfjewelry. Nina's passion for what she creates is infectious, so using emotive language seemed an obvious choice. With thanks to @charlottedalila, @juliashashkina and the lovely @annvi for all your storytelling input and creativity. There's still lots to do with copy and tone, but I feel we've created something quite magical so far...

You can't beat George Orwell's tips to remind you that when it comes to writing - simplicity is everything.
I hope you're all having a fab Bank Holiday. This is just a quick one to tell you about an exciting collaboration I'm working on with the lovely Bianca and Lissie of @finalstrawfoundation - an amazing local charity that works tirelessly to reduce single-use plastic and waste.
Do me a favour, please, and watch the Benjamin Zander Ted Talk about vision, leadership, classical music... it's incredibly moving and says a lot about the importance of empowering people to do their best, of giving them a sense of hope, of conducting them and 'letting the magic happen' - as my client @annvi often likes to say.

My retainer contract with Parham House & Gardens came to an end last month, and whilst it was sad to say goodbye, I'm happy about my decision to focus on short-term freelance projects from now on.
