About me

I’m Manfreda Cavazza, a freelance writer and content strategist based in Hampshire. As a former business journalist with national press experience, I know how to dig deep, find that gem of a story and tell it in a way that sparks emotion.

People don’t buy goods and services. They buy relationships, stories and magic.

I help brands, small businesses and start-ups find their voice through great writing and evocative storytelling. If you’re looking for a creative wordsmith that will ask difficult questions, work to tight deadlines, understand your audience and get the job done, you’ve landed in the right place.

Why hire a journalist? Because great writing can transform a company’s communications. Simple, powerful, persuasive words that uncover the real story and compel people to change the way they feel, the way they think and ultimately the way they engage with your brand. No waffle. No bland, corporate clichés. Just words that work.

I’ve been a print journalist since 2001, contributing to business magazines and national newspapers including the Daily Mail (where I was retail correspondent), Drapers, Retail Week, the Sunday Express, the Independent on Sunday, the Goodwood Magazine and Lonely Planet.

Born in Portsmouth, bred in Sao Paulo, Rome and Lake Garda, I now live on the Sussex/ Hampshire border, by the sea, with my husband and three daughters: we spend a lot of time messing about in boats and hiking up the beautiful South Downs.

I think that’s enough about me. Let’s talk about how I can help you tell your story.
